As of April 2013, the University of Maryland has begun hosting free and discounted copies of various software on their new website known as Terpware. You can visit the Terpware site by going to [[http://terpware.umd.edu|this link]] and logging in; this will show you the software available for you to use.

Some of the software on their site includes:

OACS offers installations of various software packages to University-owned machines. To have this software installed, you'll need to open a work order with OACS by visiting the following link and filling out their [[https://oacs.umd.edu/webform/submit-work-order | form ]] 

They offer the following software through this service:
*SPSS (Please note that OACS and Division of IT do NOT support personal purchases of SPSS.)
*SAS 9.4
