If you have forgotten your Econ password, simply grab your University ID card and head up to our office at 4115B Tydings Hall, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and we can assist you in resetting it.

If you wish to change your password, you can follow these steps:

1. Log into any domain computer using your ECON\username and password.
2. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to bring up the Graphical Identification and Authentication screen.
3. Select Change a Password.
4. Input your current password into the Old Password box.
5. Input your new password into the bottom two boxes, ensuring that they are both the same. The password must be 8 digits in length, and have 3 of the following 4 types of symbols:
   • Uppercase letter : ex: A
   • Lowercase letter : ex: b
   • Number : ex: 1
   • Symbol : ex: ?
6. Click the submit arrow on the confirm password box to finalize changing your password.
