Starting in November 2023, we will slowly be migrating cluster nodes to a new system. We will be doing the following: * Upgrading the Operating System from CentOS 6.5 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8 * Moving the authentication servers from an internal system to UMD's Active Directory What this means for you: * You will no longer need to remember a separate login for the cluster. Everything will be tied in to your UMD username and password. * The latest versions of software available will be updated as well.
